Corinth ranked among state’s best after big win over Tish to remain undefeated

The Corinth Lady Warriors remained undefeated with a huge 4-1 division win over Tishomingo County on Thursday night.

The Lady Warriors jumped out to a 3-0 lead after 3 innings and got an RBI single from Seventh-grader Laynie Briggs to score Cheyenne Hendrix in the 6th inning, who led offwith a triple.

Hendrix had muliple hits as well as the triple. Mckenzie Patterson got the victory on the mound. She tossed a complete game, scattering 3 hits with 3 strikouts.

The Lady Warriors are 10-0-1 on the season and 2-0 in division play. They were ranked as the #3 4A team in the state by MS Gridiron this week.
