Kossuth baseball ranked among states best as they pick up key win over North Pontotoc

The Kossuth baseball Aggies picked up a key division win in a matchup of #1 vs #2 statewide in 3A on Tuesday.

Kossuth, the #2 ranked school statewide this week according to Mississippi Gridiorn, defeated #1 ranked North Pontotoc 4-1 on Tuesday to move to 9-1 on the season.

Even more importantly, that moved the Aggies to 2-0 in division.

The Aggies travel to North Pontotoc tonight in the biggest game in the young season. A victory puts them firmly in control for a division title.
