Lady Warriors remain undefeated in district play with big win over Ripley
Ripley– The Lady Warriors of Corinth went to Ripley on Thursday and came away with a convincing win over the Lady Tigers to move to 7-2 on the year.
More improtantly, they remain undefeated on the season.
Allison Greene scored twice in the games first 7 minutes to set the pace for the Lady Warriors.
Sarah Kate Burns added a goal in the 10th minute followed by a Sarah Bickert goal in the 11th minute.
Burns would add another long range goal in the 28th minute.
Jasmine and America Aguilar would add scores to finish out the scoring for Corinth.
In boys action, the Warriors would strike first on a Andrew Pittman goal off of a Tony Benitez assist but the Tigers offensive pressure would prove too much for the visitors from Corinth as Ripley won 4-1.
The Warriors moved to 3-4-1 (1-1).
