Kossuth kept Alcorn Central at 14 points or fewer in every set Thursday, sweeping its county opponent 25–12, 25–14, 25–10 to reach the Class 3A girls volleyball semifinals. The Aggies’ 21st consecutive victory puts them one match from the state championship game.

Belmont survived a 27–25 fourth set and took the fifth 15–13, setting up the October 12 semifinal shown on the MHSAA bracket. Kossuth swept Belmont in both September meetings, but this third matchup decides who plays for the state title October 16.
