Kossuth took pair of wins over Booneville in shutout fashion

Kossuth gets pair of shutout wins over district foe Booneville this week, allowing just one hit in two games.

The Aggies got an 8-0 win on Tuesday behind a Hank Eaton no hitter with 10 strikeouts. Eaton added a homerun and a double to lead at the plate with 3 RBI. Ashton Knight added a homerun and a pair of RBI while Eli Hinton added a pair of hits.

Kossuth completed the season sweep with a 5-0 win on Thursday behind the strong pitching of Hunter Hutchens who threw a complete game 1 hit shutout. Hutchens tallied 8 strikeouts for the Aggies. Reid Coward led at the plate with a pair of hits.

The win moved Kossuth to 10-3 on the season. They currently sit at the top of their district standings.
