Pair of Alcorn County players named all state in baseball
A pair of Alcorn County players have been named all state in baseball by the coaches in Mississippi.
Kossuth’s Austin Shaw and Alcorn Central’s Chase Shaw were both named to the second team.
Chase hit .466 this season with 5 doubles, 3 triples and 5 HR, driving in 25 runs.
Austin went 7-0 on the season with a 1.81 ERA. He struck out 57 batters in 38 innings pitched.
