Biggersville advancing to third round of playoffs with sweep of Simmons
The Biggersville Lions are moving on to the third round of the 1A state baseball playoffs after a sweep of Hollandale Simmons.
The Lions won game one of their series in comeback fashion 7-5 thanks to a 5 run 5th inning and closed out a series with a 9-2 victory to ensure they advance.
Biggersville will play West Union in the third round with the winner moving on to the North Half championship round.
Those games will begin on Thursday.
