Kossuth baseball picks up win in opening game of playoffs
The Kossuth Aggies picked up a win in the opening round of the playoffs by a score of 3-1 over Independence on Saturday.
Kossuth got a complete game from Austin Shaw on the mound as he struck out 7 and gave up one earned run on 5 scattered hits.
At the plate, Kenner Mills led with 3 singles. Stone Bradly and Brett Benjamin had a pair of hits each and they both had an RBI in a game where runs came at a premium.
The Aggies travel to Independence on Monday with a chance to advance to the next round on the line.
