Biggersville uses clutch defense, big shots to claim district championship

Biggersville knew headed into their third meeting with Wheeler that beating a quality opponent three times in a single season would take all out effort.

Luckily for the Lions, Hunter Stacy got the memo.

The junior guard made a pair of key defensive plays late and made big shots all night on his way to 27 points and his teams 59-56 victory.

The Lions victory moved them to 22-4 on the season. They host Falkner in the opening round of the MHSAA playoffs Monday.
