Alcorn Central gets split against West Union as boys win in thriller
Alcorn Central made a series of key plays late against West Union in boys basketball action Thursday to pick up a 57-54 victory.

Hughes finished with 13 while Derrick added 12.
In girls action, Central lost a back and forth contest to West Union 53-43.
Central was led in scoring by Lauren Young with 18. Rebekah Fields added 13 and Ella Mask has 10.
