The Aggies of Kossuth find themselves in a 4 way tie at the top of their division standings after a 17-7 win over Belmont on Friday.
Kossuth found themselves trailing 2-0 after 2 innings and 4-3 headed to the bottom of the 4th.
They went on to score 14 runs over the next 3 innings in a game that spanned 3 hours.
Blain Suitor led with 3 hits and 2 RBI. Stone Bradley reached base all 5 times he came to the plate including a homerun, double and 3 RBI. Kasen Buchanan had 2 hits including a double and 3 RBI. Kenner Mills had 2 hits while Hunter Eaton has a double with an RBI to give the Aggies their first lead of the game.
Austin Shaw got the win on the mound as he and Eaton combined to scatter 6 hits on the night with 7 K’s.
The victory moved Kossuth to 14-4 on the season and 4-3 in division. Their final 3 division games against Mantachie and Booneville will decide their playoff fortune.
