Corinth rolls past Kossuth
This years Corinth football team has been described as the fastest the school has ever fielded. If you were to ask the Kossuth defenders who were tasked with tackling the speedy Warriors, they would surely agree.
Corinth used their tremendous team speed to break out 12 runs of over 20 yards including 5 long touchdown runs on their way to a 49-13 final victory in the rivalry game.
The game started with touchdown runs by Zach and Tam Patterson in the first 6 minutes and a 14-0 lead they would not relinquish. Tam finished the game with 4 touchdowns
Warrior quarterback DT Sheffield used several highlight reel runs to end the night with over 100 rushing yards.
The victory moved Corinth to 5-1 while the loss dropped Kossuth to 3-3.
