Corinth edges Alcorn Central in epic volleyball contest

An electric crowd featuring large student sections for both squads were at Alcorn Central last night to watch the Golden Bears and Lady Warriors do battle in a key early season volleyball contest.

The product on the court did not disappoint.

The Lady Warriors won a back and forth contest 3-2 by scores of 25-18 (AC), 28-26 (C), 25-23 (AC), 25-18 (C) and 15-9 (C).

Corinth moves to 5-1 on the year while Alcorn Central fell to 3-5.

Both squads have a lot of season left and both will be forces to reckon with this season.
