Alcorn Central keeps up winning ways with win over Belmont
Glen, MS – August 28, 2025 – The Alcorn Central Lady Bears continued their strong start to the season with a commanding 3-0 victory over the Belmont Lady Cardinals on Thursday night. Behind a relentless attack and consistent serving, the Lady Bears won in straight sets, 25-11, 25-18, and 25-18.
Game Summary
From the opening serve, Alcorn Central seized control, racing out to a dominant 25-11 first set win. The Lady Bears’ front line controlled the net, while their defense allowed few scoring opportunities for Belmont. In the second and third sets, the Lady Bears kept their momentum, closing out both frames 25-18 to complete the sweep.
