CMS Lady Warriors advance to semifinals with win at 5-county tournament

The Corinth Lady Warriors used a frenetic pace, tenacious defense and a combination of inside and outside scoring to defeat Booneville 36-18 a the 5-county tournament and advance to the Semifinals.

Corinth jumped out to a 9-2 first quarter lead thanks to several steals and easy buckets. They never trailed in the constest.

The Lady Warriors were led in scoring by Lazoya Howard, who finished with 11.

They go on to face Iuka Friday at 5:30.
